"Dreams are made to be followed, life is meant to be lived, some books are meant to be read, loved and passed on. The Alchemist is one of those books."
This is story of a shepherd boy of spain named Santiago. He keeps getting same dreams about getting treasures that are lying in the pyramids of Egypt. He embarks on a journey after meeting to an old man, who gave him magical stones, advices.
"What's the world's greatest lie?' the boy asked.
"It's this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lost control of what's happening to us, and our lives. become controlled by fate. That's the world greatest lie."
"He never realized that people are capable at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of."
"And when you want something all the universe conspires in helping you to recievs it."
Santiago crosses the mediterramen and Sahara to find his treassures in Egypt and also accomplish his personal purpose of life. The book deals with the journey and the various difficulties faced by him during this journey. Here it is just a fable but everyone can relate to fulfill their dream by this journey. Many difficulties ultimately help him to learn and grow the entire way. Does he find the tressures in the pyramids of egypt?
"It is said that the darkest hour in the night just came before the dawn."
It is an unforgettable story about the essential wisdom of listening to our heart, and, above all following our dreams.
